About
The National Rural Law Enforcement Association represents all police agencies, but more importantly those in rural areas.
Most police agencies in rural areas do not have the support or infrastructure set up to assist them in important legislative, grants and proper networking and partnerships with other law enforcement, business and academia in order to advance in better policing.
We also want to utilize more businesses to be able to promote their products better than before. The NRLEA provides rural police with pure and simple information to assist them in advancing their city and community with the vital information and connections needed in order to succeed.
This is just one part of the process. A major focus of NRLEA’s consulting and technology expertise is being placed on homeland security issues and financial aid around the country. Our objective is to see rural law enforcement agencies have a better chance. To do the job, NRLEA has developed a portfolio of solutions in key areas needed to see rural agencies succeed.
Our solutions are more than technology, we are bringing the ability to work with agencies and businesses on all facets of their capabilities to determine the right mix of strategy and policy, processes, software, labor, sensors, and infrastructure that will most cost-effectively results to our law enforcement members.
Cyber security is another key area of interest, and here the NRELEA is building its capabilities through both internal development and partnerships with strategic businesses who cater to police. We intend to address the full scope of every aspect of intelligence and understanding to provide a broader answer in order to fulfill the needs required for all communities in rural areas.
