Grants – Funds

The NRLEA along with several sponsors have provided a new fund for any law enforcement entity that is without a website to purchase the BobCOP System from BobCOP, LLC.

This is a full website and it also includes a full reporting system for citizens to file non-emergency non-suspect police reports online 24/7/365.  Other capabilities include a warrants system, missing persons, most wanted, crime finders and much more including a city alert system which can also be used for many other areas of need.

The current price for this system is $3500.00 and the NRLEA will supply $3225.00 leaving a cost to any agency at $275.00 per year.  Agency’s must sign up to take advantage of this offer.

BobCOP now has partnered with the NRLEA with the UIR System, a $4800.00 per year system value.  Depending on the population size and agency sworn, now is a good time to take advantage of having the BobCOP Cloud as your online RMS and police officer uniform incident reporting system.  First year $600.00.

There are no more grants for PC’s, Laptops, Vests and Radars at this time.  We thank all that participated in the last event.

UPDATE on reconditioned servers:  After careful review, we have declined to offer reconditioned servers as they condition of them are not up to today’s standards.  They are too old for use and in the long run will not supply the standards of use for agencies. 

UPDATE on police patches:  We have no more funding for police patches and are in talks with two businesses offering their services for design and creation of new police patches for those agencies in need of patches and any new look.  This is for those only who wish to have a new design from their current design.

UPDATE on high-school senior grants for college:   The NRLEA will post on this site when we have a new high school senior grant available for those entering in college.  The requirements and description along with the application will be posted when we finalize the item.  Amount of this grant is for $500 per year to the student.  The amount of grants available are unknown at this time and will be posted.

UPDATE on The Results Group, LTD:  Directly To Agencies That Are Members Of NRLEA:

1. 50% discount off tuition for any of our Leadership Training courses. (For example, The Sergeants’ Academy … normal tuition = $500; for NRLEA members = $250; The Executive Academy … normal tuition = $550; for NRLEA members $275, and so on. The courses are on our website.) I am also seeking Host Sites for training in any state; Host Sites receive two free slots for providing a training facility and assisting with getting the word out to surrounding agencies.

2. Contributed Services: up to 1 hour telephone conference with senior decision makers on a variety of topics, i.e., strategic planning; organizational development; recruiting and retention techniques; building an effective team; dealing with disgruntled employees; working effectively with city councils and county commissions; effective job performance reviews, setting up a Citizen’s Academy; succession planning.
